United States debt in the style of William Shakespeare

An amusing little snippet from a William Banzai post over at ZeroHedge entitled To default or not to default :

TO DEFAULT, OR NOT TO DEFAULT
William Banzai Shakespeare

To default, or not to default: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler at this time to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous financial misfortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of rising debts,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand market cuts,
That insolvent flesh is heir to, ’tis a debentured recomposition
Devoutly to be wish’d. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there’s the hubub;
For in that sleep of fiscal death what disastrous dreams may come
When we have lanced off the bankrupt boil,
Must give us pause: there’s the disrespect

After Friday’s late US downgrade, tomorrow should be something of a fairground ride in the markets although it could be anywhere between rollercoaster and Ghost Train.

Hang on to your hats I think.
