Three whole weeks of a deliberately newsless existence has made a very refreshing change from reading the usual UK, dumbed down news bollocks.
One final day of low blood pressure bliss and I will return to the fray tomorrow.
As it’s time again for my Summer visit to Estonia posting may be a little sporadic for the next three weeks and possibly non-existent for a few days due an unfortunate internet router death at my friends appartment. Please feel free to have a root around amongst some of the 900+ posts using the [...] Proceedings will be somewhat light for the next 2 weeks as I stretch my little wings and fly across to the other side of Europe to visit my Estonian co-conspirators. I will be poking my antennae up on occasion during my stay but it all depends on which variety of bottle I happen to [...] How time flies when you are having fun. I started scribbling on here one year ago and, at the time, had no real idea what I was going to write about. Today, I am still none the wiser but it has certainly been fun finding weird and wonderful things to stick on the blog [...] Hopefully, you can now view The Waspsnest on a mobile device in a display friendly format thanks to the WPTouch plugin (and equally hopefully, I haven’t loused anythign else up in the process). Please let me know in comments if you have any issues with the display or even if it’s working OK for you. After some buggerations with file permissions everything is now (hopefully) working again. Apologies for the outage yesterday due to SQL server buggerations. Hopefully everything is working properly again now. UPDATE – I am changing servers – back soon. UPDATE 2 – Waspsnest is now on a new server at a hosting company that actually gives a fuck about it’s customers. Hopefully I haven’t broken anything in [...] Apologies for the downtime this evening – hopefully my wings are working correctly again now. You may have noticed LinkWithin has turned up on posts – I will give it a few days to see if it improves on its choices or else its out again. Update … it is actually damned ugly imo – it may not get a few days! Update 2 … Nope – I don’t [...] After three weeks away, returning to the UK is always a wrench but especially so this year when the weather here seems distinctly Autumnal compared with 3 weeks of 30+ degree sunshine. One thing I really noticed yesterday on the drive back from the airport was the endless precession of road safety signs which [...] Apologies for the lack of posting lately – I wearing out my little wings right now trying to tidy up a metric fuckton of little jobs before disappearing on holiday on Friday. ‘small dead animals‘ being a new blog I found today which I rather like (now added to the blogroll) – their opinion on Greece as an introduction : Greece Saved! Those who thought Greece’s problem was that they didn’t have enough debt can rejoice! They’ve generously agreed accept a 120 billion Euro “rescue package”. [...] Anna Racoon and Underdogs bite upwards are now on the blogroll – both are well worth reading.
