The Waspsnest’s first birthday

How time flies when you are having fun.

I started scribbling on here one year ago and, at the time, had no real idea what I was going to write about. Today, I am still none the wiser but it has certainly been fun finding weird and wonderful things to stick on the blog as well as having an occasional rant about, well, anything I want to rant about.

Half the fun of writing a blog for me is reading a lot of other sources for inspiration. Over the last year I have found some very good blogs (most of the regularly read ones are in the blogroll on the right) as well as the delights of The Daily Mash, Pravda and last, but not least, Christwire. After all, who could fail to laugh at their How to spot a masturbator?

The first year at Waspsnest has seen over 600 posts and nearly 11000 visitors – both being a hell of a lot more than I would have ever imagined when I started.

Thank you to one and all and let’s see what the next year brings along – with the coagulation showing it’s true big state, jackboot wearing, banstubatory colours, it should certainly be interesting.
