A smoker fighting back after a little subway argie-bargie :
A HOMELESS man allegedly stabbed a Manhattan subway passenger in the head with a pen after she angrily snatched away his cigarette lighter today.
Caroberto Cordero, 35, tried to light a cigarette in front of Evelyn Seeger as the southbound No.2 train was pulling into the Chambers St station at about 9.15am local time, according to police sources.
During the altercation, Mr Cordero allegedly whipped out a pen and plunged it into the 45-year-old woman’s head.
Whilst snatching someones property from their hand in a righteous hissy fit is not the best course of action I am pretty sure she didn’t expect being impaled on a biro.
Maybe he was actually using one of these cunning cigarette pens just to annoy people :

I’m trying to muster some sympathy for Ms. Seeger…nope, not even a flicker.
Henry – my thoughts exactly – she sounds like a screeching harridan who got what she deserved.
Jury still out on whether the pen is mightier than the sword, but it’s certainly mightier than an interfering NuPuritan….
