Shadow Labour Minister in hypocrisy shocker.

Hypocrisy is alive and well in the ranks of the Labour Government with this little snippet found amongst a Telegraph article on fuel prices not coming down with the fall in oil prices :

Maria Eagle, Labour’s transport spokesman, said motorists had already been “conned” when the VAT increase added three pence to the cost of a litre of unleaded.

“Now they are being ripped off by a failure to ensure cuts in oil prices are matched at the pump causing more misery for families already feeling the squeeze in household budgets”.

The would be the same Labour government who introduced a special fuel duty addition to offset the drop in VAT to 15% and then kept that same fuel duty increase in place when VAT returned to 17.5%.

Do they really think people have the attention span of goldfish or worse, do they actually believe the shit they spout in some double think manner?

It really is frightening that our country is being slowly destroyed, yet all most people seem to care about is Britain’s Got Talent, or which non celebrity is going into “The Big Brother House”….

I was in a wholesalers today, and jokingly complained that I couldn’t see an EU flag displayed. The guy serving me was genuinely surprised when I explained about the decree for all councils to have it flying….

I doubt that they give a toss either way…

microdave – I have thought as much for a long time – score a few points in the shouty match whilst waiting for their turn at the controls again.

Have people really got attention spans so short as to forget things from just 12 months ago or is it some psycholigical reaction to blank out 13 years of utter shite from day to day thought?
