Dream this one up for a novel plot line and no one would believe you but unfortunately people really are that strange :

The thumb drive Josue Rivera, 38, gave a Bridgeport funeral director to play at a service was supposed to be a memorial slideshow of the person who had passed away. Instead, it contained dozens of images of child pornography, according to the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.

They arrested Rivera of Bridgeport on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree possession of child pornography.

The arrest comes almost 10 months after an employee of Luz de Paz Funeral Home reviewed the drive, saw it was no memorial tribute and called Bridgeport police, the Connecticut Post reports.

Police seized Rivera’s home computer and found as many as 153 files they believe are child pornography depicting 35 children, including three videos, the Post reports.

Whilst it didn’t actualy get used in the service you can’t fail to imagine the scene with the clergyman giving a solemn service whilst standing in front of a screen showing god only knows what.

There would have certainly been plenty to talk about at the wake!

It’s hard to believe that someone engaged in a highly “dodgy” activity can be so stupid…

How cheap are pen drives these days?? Just buy a new one and make absolutely damn sure that all you copy across are the wanted files.

microdave -given the levels of stupidity I would imagine that genious there would have been caught sooner rather than later anyway. It would be a pretty boring world though where the stupid and their misfortunes did not exist.
