The World’s most useless machine mark 1 was a simple box which turned itself off everytime you turned it on and even spawned an array of homebuild kits allowing you to engage in a pointless battle of wills against the single minded dumb box :

Although you may get some satisfaction from making it I am sure the novelty will wear off long before you wear out your first battery.
At least that was the case until a gentleman going by the alias Danukeru designed mark 2.
The video below shows mark 2 of The World’s most useless machine in action. Whilst initialy doing exactly the same as mark 1 just wait and see what happens when you annoy the hell out of it – a full blown desk rampage followed by a petulant withdrawal on its own switch. For such a simple and useless device it is actually damned amusing to watch the results :

microdave – yes – I love the way it hides its own switch – very nice touch. You can almost get a sense of something inside the box pouting after throwing that tantrum.
