The quote below was spotted in amongst the comments on a BBC article about housing benefit cuts for those people with “spare” rooms in their funded social housing. You would have thought that people could differentiate between a discussion thread and an sms but that is apparently too much to ask these days :

Julia – you have a point there – using that many abbreviations in one paragraph takes either true dedication to a cause (continued receipt of our tax money) or considerable practice.
