The cat came back – part II

A flutter of the wings to Paul who commented on Macabre’s version of The Cat Came Back which I posted earlier this week to let me know that there is an old Nickleodion cartoon of the story of that indestructable cat which used to play on Canadian television in the early 1990s:

The cartoon and Macabre’s version would be a perfect combination.

Thanks for the wing flutter. I have left another comment on the original thread also. The song is very popular with children’ entertainers as well, so there are several other versions on Youtube as well with nursery school kids singing along.

Given some of the lyrics, I am surprised that the powers that be haven’t banned it from schools given “…shotgun full of nails and dynamite…” etc.

The bansturbators probably overlooked it with it being a cartoon. Little do they know what kind of thing gets by them in cartoon form and long may it shall continue.
